about us

Pana is a platform and community that aims to uplift the wellbeing of the African Diaspora and allies, through movement, knowledge and the celebration of black culture.

Through retreats to Africa and the Caribbean, we encourage education of black culture and history. Our BPOC yoga club provides a safe space for black, brown and people of colour to heal and be empowered to elevate their wellbeing, something we have found lacking in society. Additionally, we aim to make the tools for wellbeing more affordable and accessible to the black community.

Yoga, nature, community and travel are our tools for re-connection to ourselves, our heritage and the world around us.

Our pillars

  • Afrocentric

  • sharing the benefits of yoga, meditation & breathwork

  • rooted in science

  • community focused

  • supporting mental health

  • accessible

Our pillars sit at the heart of what we do. For too long, inequalities have existed in healthcare and wellness spaces. The black community has been disproportionally affected by physical and mental health issues, which was highlighted by the Covid-19 pandemic.

We aim to provide the tools and support for the black community and allies to heal, grow and re-connect.
