Kenya retreat: q&a
We are super excited to be returning to Kenya for another retreat! We will be heading to Watamu Treehouse for an unforgettable experience of yoga and African culture. Surrounded by an indigenous forest with the Indian Sea in eyes view, attendees will get to nourish their well-being and deepen their yoga practice in pure luxury.

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes! We offer 6-month and 4-month payment plans for all our retreats. The final payment is due a minimum of 1 month before the start of the retreat. Once you have booked your spot, we will send you a detailed outline of your payment plan and monthly reminder emails.
Is the food strictly veggie/vegan?
The treehouse has an incredible menu of veggie and vegan dishes and we also offer fresh fish! All meals are nutritionally balanced and primarily plant-based, with the option for a fish main course. No other meat is served by the treehouse, but will be available when we go out for dinner at local restaurants.
How many people in total will attend the retreat?
There will be 12-14 people in total attending the retreat. We limit the group size to ensure an intimate feeling while the opportunity to meet lots of amazing people.
What kind of excursions are you looking to do?
We offer stand-up paddle boarding in the backwaters included in the price of the retreat, alongside trips to the beach and local town to explore the surrounding area and learn about the local way of life. There will be the opportunity to partake in optional activities for an additional price such as kayak trips and a snorkelling. You can read more about the treehouse experiences here.
Do many people come on their own?
Definitely! Many people choose to attend our retreats solo for a truly enriching wellness experience. We usually have 60-70% of guests attending solo.
Does it include the price of flights?
No, the retreat price does not include flights or insurance so these must be purchased separately. Once you have booked your spot, we will share the recommended flights and travel arrangements to support you.
Is the retreat for people of colour (POC) only?
Nope, our retreats are majority POC but open to all, as we believe everyone should discover, learn about and enjoy African & Caribbean culture 😊.
How do I sign up to attend?
To attend this retreat you must register interest first. From there, if spaces are available you'll receive an email which provides details for booking.
What style of yoga do you offer?
The mornings will be an energising vinyasa practice and the evenings will be a slower yin.
